Katya's Teaching Schedule

Please note that these schedules vary with Katya's travel schedule, so please contact her in order to find out what the current teaching times are as well as locations/fees. Bursaries available for those in need.

Anywhere yoga is a dynamic fusion of styles that Katya brings to her teaching. It is a philosophy based upon the idea that yoga can happen to anyone, anywhere. This means regardless of size, sex, flexibility, mood, or geographical location (i.e.. off or on the mat, in the studio or doing laundry). The body will naturally come into these postures with time, the fundamental shift is letting the mind accept these postures, not from a goal oriented perspective, but from a place of compassion and ease. Trusting in the bodies abilities, as well as honoring its limitations are key building blocks in her classes. Anywhere yoga is not a hybridized form of yoga, but a simple and approachable way of doing hatha yoga in a non-dogmatic and intuitive environment.

Katya's classes are open to everyone and anyone. Each class is presented in an inviting, approachable, and accessible way, with modifications offered for students less flexible. Drop ins are welcome. Katyas style of teaching is loving, dynamic, and clear. Feel free to come and try a class out, and ask Katya any questions or concerns that you have.

Private lessons

Have you ever wondered if you are practicing "correctly"? Had a pose that just isn't working for you? Or wanted someone to give you all the adjustments your body needs? A private yoga lesson is a wonderful way to deepen your practice, as well as explore your body's needs in detail, truly making the practice yours. Often people are wanting to develop a home practice, but don't know where to start. Katya can help you to create a personalized practice that is safe, suitable, and fun for you. Yoga is not about mimicking a picture or teacher, but finding your own internal landscape within each asana. As most people who have done yoga know, yoga poses are not one size fits all, each body needs its own path into the shape, form, and taste of the posture. A private lesson is geared towards those people who want to explore their pathway into the asanas with the gentle and focused attention of a teacher one on one. Each class is one hour. Katya also does private yoga lessons for couples wanting to deepen their yoga practice together. Please contact Katya for fees, scheduling, and availability.
